“Situated in the foothills of the Alps, with peaks reaching over 8,000 ft, it’s such a beautiful area for outdoor activities. We walked and explored...swam in lakes and rivers...but the speciality in the area in summer is the climbing...a long established climbing heritage focussed in Orpierre, superb ‘sport’  climbing as close as Gorge d’Agnielles, travelling up to an hour by car are other more serious ‘via ferrata’ – a must to anyone visiting the area”
